| Goa State Museum
Goa is referred as the coastal heaven of the world. The museums of Goa are the symbol of the restricted combination of modernity and culture, religion with heritage. The museums are the showcase of the items found in prehistoric, historic, and medieval period.
The museum is separated into 12 galleries and has a huge group of over 8000 articles. The Jain and Hindu sculpture, handicraft, statuettes and figures of metal mainly of bronze, textiles, paintings, coins of ancient times, wooden objects, exclusive collection of original painting, sculptures, are displayed in the museums.
The Museum remains open to the private on all the days except saturdays,Sundays and other Government Holidays
