| Group Museum And Archives
The Group museum and archives was established in the year 1978. This Museum is maintained by Department of Civil Engineering University and it houses old survey elements of 19th century and modern surveying and mapping equipments. The museums of Uttarakhand are well-known for their folk arts, textiles, personal album of eminent personalities, miniature paintings, woodworks and so on. These museums also have an assortment of sculptures, terracotta, coins, musical instruments, bronzes, ivory copper plates etc...
The Museum remains open to the private from 8am to 1pm and 5pm to 7pm during summer and from 9am to 1.30pm and 4pm to 6pm during winter except Sundays and Government holidays.
